Description:
We are currently looking for a Merchandiser who will provide superior customer service while complying with PAS productivity and safety standards
Duties include:
· Drive personal vehicle to, from and between from accounts with mileage reimbursement provided
· Stock products in accounts utilizing a two wheel cart or pallet jack
· Merchandise shelves/displays and rotate products in grocery accounts in accordance to company and customer standards
· Maintain inventory through use of Handheld computer as applicable
· Create and utilize point of sale signage
· Complete associated paperwork
· Effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
· Report to work in a clean and neat uniform at scheduled starting time
· Follow all company rules and regulations
· Follow direction of Supervisors
· Maintain reliable transportation at all times
· Carry company provide Nextel and/or pager at all times
Qualifications:
· Must possess a valid Driver's License and vehicle liability insurance
· Must have the ability to obtain a powered industrial truck permit
· Must be able to lift 85 pounds easily and consistently throughout shift
· Must be able to push/pull 300 lb pallets continuously throughout shift
· Must be able to work shifts as assigned such as weekends, holidays and mandatory overtime
· Must pass criminal and driving background investigations as well as pre-employment drug screen
Preferred Qualifications:
· Posses a valid CDL Class A Driver's License
· Six months or more experience in customer service, sales, grocery or retail
· Stable work history and a good attendance record
· Ability to multi task and good organizational skills
